About Me

Isabel Morales was born in Chile, and lived as a child immigrant in Long Island, New York. After a long time of befriending immigrants from all over the world, she returned to her education. With the goal to tell their stories she is currently working on her BA in English and Creative Nonfiction Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. From her experiences, she believes every encounter has the potential to teach us about life and about ourselves.

In New York, she graduated from Nassau Community College with an Associates in Liberal Arts, in hopes of finding a major. Some years passed, she married into the military and with much relocating found it hard to return to her education. When she lived in El Paso, Texas, she returned to school and received her Medical Assistant certification from Western Tech College. This set the stage to her return for her long-lost passion for writing that had remained hidden up until her travels inspired stories to be written.

She has been fortunate to live in Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, and currently resides in Daegu, South Korea with her husband and her two cats. She is projected to Puerto Rico on June 2022.
