I am working on a YA nonfiction book.

This story is based on a girl and her journey as an immigrant in the United States. She struggles with the language barrier and economic struggles. At a young age, she is faced with making difficult decisions in order to keep food on the table. She learns the truth about discrimination, the chasing of dreams, the kindness of others, and the expectations of  society.
